  • ,,Digital transformation and human rights: EU perspective’’ DIGIRIGHTS project no 101175695 funded by the EU (EACEA) DIGIRIGHTS provides 5 tailor-made courses: Digital Rights and Principles-People at the Centre of Digital Transformation, Solidarity and Inclusion-Economic and Social Rights in the Digital Age, Safety and Security, Property Rights in the Digital Era, Intellectual Rights and Consumer Protection and E-justice. Considering the project theme’s complexity DIGIRIGHTS includes three experts from Croatia and North Macedonia experienced in Jean Monnet activities.
  • Human Rights and Technology: Bridging the Gap with AI Applications (HARTech)" project funded by the DAAD (German Higher Education Exchange Service) and implemented by the Europa-Institut, University of Saarland (Germany), and the Faculties of Law provides the students with an intensive learning experience and give them a comprehensive understanding of key aspects related to Law and new technologies with special focus on artificial intelligence (AI). It is based on a multidisciplinary program designed to explore the intersection of technology, ethics, and legal studies.
  • Mobile Legal Clinic" within the Justice for All project sponsored by YUCOM and USAID, May 2024 to May 2025. This project involves practical training of students and providing legal aid to clients – beneficiaries of, for example, Gerontological Center "Sveti Sava", Safe House in Niš, Roma Association "Prokuplje" and others. A number of 32 students of the third and the fourth year of bachelor studies are offered acquisition of practical knowledge and mastery of legal skills, under the supervision of professors and lawyers, as well as the adoption of standards of legal professionalism and legal ethics and work in small groups while using interactive teaching methods.
  • The project: Responsibility in Legal and Social Context (2021-2025) financed by the Faculty of Law University of Niš with the aim of exploring the evolving dimensions of responsibility in contemporary legal systems and societal structures. It addresses how concepts of individual, institutional, and collective responsibility are interpreted and applied across various branches of law — including criminal, civil, administrative, and constitutional law — while also analyzing their implications in a broader socio-ethical context.
  • The Faculty of Law is equipped with modern infrastructure that supports advanced research, teaching, and international cooperation.
  • The Faculty hosts classroom with video conferencing systems, enabling seamless participation in hybrid and international academic activities.
  • Additionally, a dedicated computer lab supports legal informatics and Legal Tech research, providing access to specialized legal databases.
  • Among its key facilities are two fully equipped moot courtrooms, which provide students and researchers with practical training in legal proceedings and moot court competitions.
  • This infrastructure makes the Faculty well-positioned for hosting joint academic programs, blended mobility, and co-organized events with Chinese partner institutions.

The Legal Tech team maintains strong connections with industry, public institutions, and civil society organizations through applied research, policy consultancy, and socially engaged legal practice. DIGIRIGHTS acts as a bridge between academic research and society, aiming to shape a digital future by empowering institutions, legal professionals, and citizens alike. Prof. Maja Nastic acted as OSCE Consultant in the project Improving fulfillment of Tolerance and Non-discrimination commitments in Serbia, with a focus on youth and gender equality.
Legal clinics established under the coordination of prof. Darko Dimovski enables practical legal training and direct interaction with citizens. Prof. Anđelija Tasić is an active in the legal clinic and serves as a mediator. All team members are involved in international academic cooperation.
